Jill Riding the Racing Roller Coaster!

5/11/2010 - While there is always a lot to learn during the racing season, and while the season has its ups and downs, Jill is excited about the progress that she is making and is looking forward to continued growth and success as the season moves forward. There have been some ups and downs, that is certain. The World of Outlaws tour is a hard one, and success has been hard to find for Jill and the race team. Last weekend in Lincoln, Illinois, Jill moved from her 10th starting spot in the B Main within two spots of qualifying for the 50 lap feature but could not gain any more spots. On Saturday night, at Bardstown, KY, the highly anticipated unveiling the new Rocket did not go well. However, the issues have been sorted out, and everyone is confident that there is significant success just ahead in the new car and motor package. The driving style needs to be tweaked, as do some things with the car. Once that happens, and it is hoped this weekend’s trip to Delaware and Maryland will be the time, Jill is confident that she will make WoO features on a regular basis.

On another note, sponsorship is being sought, and there are several interested parties, to put Jill in a car at the Iowa Speedway for July’s ARCA race. More information on this matter will be upcoming. Until then, the race schedule as posted is accurate. Thank you for supporting Jill George Racing.
